Exactly this reason. It doesn't take much to understand his logic behind the (VERY difficult) choice to deal Chiarlitti:
  • More trade value for Chiarlitti
  • Hottot didn't want to be traded (hands were tied)
  • Depth and experience on the blueline outweighs depth on forward

Sarnia knew how good Chiarlitti was and they are certainly glad he's excelling in Owen one doubted that he would.
