Doesn't really matter, the point must be, that Vatanen was atleast as awesome as Karlsson has been. Its not goingto matter does he play 70% or 100%, you're as good as you play, thats only fair judgement. If he wants to be better, then he must play better then. Im not saying Karlsson aint impressive, he definedly is very impressive, but it does not make less what Vatanen did in the league. Vatanen just is on hes level. I understand that many find the fact really hard to accept maybe, but when you look at Karlsson playing, it just reminds you of Vatanens skills and plays.
Lets see can he translate it to North America like Karlsson. Remember that to be even he doesn't haveto win norris at hes first season, neither did Karlsson. I would respect Karlsson higher because he's proven NHL player, but I completely understand the statement that if you compare the
SM-Liiga performances, Karlsson aint much better, they're both best Dman of the league.
