Yes, we all love Rivet, but Rolston had a great year and is a talented, reliable two-way forward who is easily the best player in the trade. I'm not saying this deal necessarily makes our team better, but it's in our favour value-wise.

The second trade is also lopsided IMO. Souray and Ryder are good trade chips, but are also inconsistent with their play at times. Demitra is no God either, but he is a superstar-calibre player when he's on, and if LA were interested in dealing him, it would take more than that.
LA would be crazy to trade Gleason.
