The money doesn't matter, it's the years. Ticket prices weren't going to drop if they got Victorino for $9million a year instead of $13million. Victorino's salary will not stop them from going after Hamilton or any other player they want. I don't care who gets paid what as long as the terms are short.

Cleveland offered $44million for 4, and we got him for $5million cheaper, and we're out of the contract a whole year earlier. So it's not a huge overpayment if other teams were offering more money.
