Yup. The article definitely nailed the part about the players having a natural affinity towards the game. They, just like everyone else, want to get back to playing hockey. It worked against them last time, and they lost during the last lockout. This time around, they brought in a brutal hardliner that won't be swayed by the threat of missing the game that they love. Say what you want about Fehr's tactics, but the players certainly won't be taking it on the chin this time like they did in 2004-2005. He won't allow it.
