honestly this won't happen. I was at an AHL Showcase game at the Verizon Center in DC on Thursday, and although it was minor league hockey, it was hockey. About 70-75% of the arena was filled and a bunch of people I talked to said, "hockey is hockey" the fans will continue to show up.
