Attempt at a 2013 Mock Draft

Before I begin, let me just say that, as opposed to using the actual standings of 2011-2012 or applying the weighted lottery format used to determine the order of selection in the 2005 NHL entry draft, I simply wrote the names of each team on corresponding pieces of paper and drew them one at a time from a hat to determine the drafting spots.

-Toronto=MacKinnon
-Nashville=Barkov (Jones is extremely tempting, but I think Barkov is very close to him in terms of potential and fits their needs better)
-Dallas=Jones
-Calgary=Monahan (scoring ability and two-way play)
-Phoenix=Drouin
-Detroit=Lindholm
-St. Louis=Pulock
-Anaheim=Ristolainen (no specific weakness, they go BPA)
-Colorado=Shinkaruk
-NY Islanders=Nichushkin
-Montreal=Lazar
-Columbus=Nurse
-Winnipeg=Mantha
-New Jersey=Erne
-Vancouver=Morissey
-Minnesota=Zadorov
-Edmonton=Fuchale
-Boston=Domi
-Pittsburgh=Gauthier
-Wahington=Burakovsky
-San Jose=Rychel
-Carolina=Duclair
-Ottawa=Hagg
-Columbus (Los Angeles)=Compher
-Buffalo=Carrier
-Columbus (NY Rangers)=De la Rose
-Florida=Lekhonen
-Philadelphia=Theodore
-Tampa Bay=Klimchuck
-Chicago=Santini
