Backstrom is the straw that stirs the drink in Washington. Their success had nothing to do with a a coaching change. Their season turned around when Backstrom got healthy.
Crosby has won Hart and captained team to Stanley Cup while having the highest PPG in essentially all years post lockout.

Ovechkin while he may be struggling now is a 2x Hart Winner, Calder Winner and Art Ross Winner in the past 6 years.

Lundqvist has one Vezina.

It really isn't that hard. Lundqvist is good, but he hasn't had an impact to a franchise like the two mentioned above for their respective teams.
