I like Ribs' intensity. He battles hard on the wall for pucks and takes pucks from bigger guys routinely. But I think we've seen his upside. With proper linemates (shooters who recognize when to give the puck to the playmaker and who can get open), he's a 60-70 point guy, but he'll hurt you in a lot of ways (defensively, offensive zone possession, predictability).

Plekanec has a big slapper, wins faceoffs, has excellent speed, has enough weight to battle on the boards, is a guy who could give it to you deep into the playoffs. He's not overly creative, but he can make a nice pass occasionally.

I take Pleks over Ribs, but I'm often wrong and they do play different styles. Depends on who their linemates are and if there is a big center in the top 6 to compensate for their size.
