Personally, I have always thought the NFL was worse than the NBA, just by a bit. It has more players to start, so that leads to more of these poor choices. But why is Baseball and Hockey significantly lower than these two other sports when it comes to these things? Not saying those sports are perfect, but compared to the NBA and especially the NFL it's like Full House for crying out loud.

My thought is this, in the NHL there are a lot of players from small town Canada. Good families, good communities, etc. You're going to run into far less problems that way. There are NFL players that are from rotten communities. They got a scholarship not based on their brains. They are basically caged animals who still have a street mentality in them despite being millionaires. If anyone thinks that's a good combination then you haven't been paying attention the last 30 years.
