Are the Dodgers a hockey team? The NHL nationally nets only $200 million. Phoenix averaged 9,000 viewers on their local RSN in 2010-11, 7,000 in 2011-12 and only appeared 3 times(all on the road) last season on VS./NBCSN and 4 times(3 road, 1 home) this season if there was one.

There's not much value for a tv deal of any kind in Phoenix. 4 appearances out of 104 games(208 appearances) isn't hard to replace considering Canadian teams took 9 of them.
