CAPGEEK.COM TOTALS
(these totals are compiled without the bonus cushion)
SALARY CAP: $60,000,000
CAP PAYROLL: $60,790,833
BONUSES: $1,322,500
CAP SPACE (21-man roster):- $790.833

We need to get rid of some dead weight here as in Pyatt, Rupp, Stralman and Asham, and WE ALSO NEED a compliance buyout of wade Redden, does not seem doable at this point. I am also assuming Sauer is done. Which I really hope is NOT the case.
So Gaborik most likely is done as a Ranger if the cap goes down to $60M next year. If no Redden buyout is allowed - then what?!?! That does NOT look very promising,,, I can tell you that...
