The players are the ones that proposed the roll back last time. But either way, that CBA did work out as planned IMO. The revenues have increased drastically, which I'm guessing is what the owners want. Now this time around they need to get a bigger piece of the pie. You can't blame them, the revenue is their, they just need to get more of it the be more successful.
At this point, you'd be hard pressed to convince me that what the players are fighting for(shorter CBA and contract length) is worth it. Or how any fan could say that they would like to have a shorter CBA.
