The only reason I might pick a forward over Jones(at this point in time), is because defensemen are just tougher to judge at that age. The peak years of a defenseman are usually further down the line than the peak years of a forward.

Yeah that would make me hesitate too. Johnson seemed like a sure thing in 2006.
