SOS is based on last year's results so it was already determined at the start of the year that KC has the easier schedule.

The rules are completely ********. KC could end up 2-0 vs Oakland and have the same record but get the higher pick due to the teams they played this year being weaker last year than the teams Oakland played this year. Makes a lot of sense.
