Be patient.

Drive them to the outside or corner.

Stay in the middle on 2-on-1s, let the goalie worry about the shooter, you take the guy looking for the pass or rebound.

Always make sure one of you is in front of the net to support the goalie.

Starting out, don't pinch in the offensive zone until you learn the timing of when to attack or retreat. Depending on their breakout and where your support is.

Brush up on skating backwards and transitions forwards<->backwards.
