Well, it sort of all makes sense from a public health perspective, I guess, but it does all seem a bit excessive too. Now if they would just ban cars and factories spewing all that smog into my air, then I could applaud the consistency of it...
The display rules on tobacco products have been in force for some time in Ontario.

To a degree a smoking ban seems like selective enforcement, but it's at least an area that the government can control. While polution emmisions can still float up from the US, even if Quebec and Ontario went entirely green tomorrow.
