Who cares if he's never anything more than a 45-50 pt player in the NHL? Goal prevention is as important as goal production.
True, but I myself was hoping he would turn into a player like Backes. Of course I'm not ruling it out, he has a good head on his shoulders and I doubt one bad year will affect him too much. I have faith in the guy. The talent level is extraordinarily high this year in the AHL so if the lockout ends it could be very good for him.
