I disagree with you here. Football has changed the way it handles concussions 100%. The days of how many fingers am I holding up and what day it is before you get back in have gone. Unless the player is a good BS artist they will be out until they pass a mulitude of tests, some which are independent of the team before they can play again. You would like to think that the reason for this is "player safety" but I beleive that to a certain extent the possibility of a lawsuit is another factor why the league has changed it's position on how it handles concussions. It looks to me that all leagues are changing, for the better, on how concussions are being handled.
