My pick:

Doug Harvey was probably the best defenseman in his heyday and ranks up there with the all-time greats like Bobby Orr and Eddie Shore. He was the total package who could skate, pass, hit, score, rush the puck, and coach. He was elected into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1973. He won 7 Norris Trophies and was named to the NHL All-Star team 11 times.

James Norris Trophy - 7 (1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1960, 1961, 1962)

Stanley Cup - 6 (1953, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960)
