you were plenty clear, and yes the outrage by the players was a little overboard considering everyone knows when bartering something that large the gap between initial offers is generally going to be large. The owners offer was crazy, but the PA didn't even bother to make a comprehensive counter-offer until the owners had softened considerably. both sides are right in claiming "they've given a lot of ground" but they're referencing different starting points: the players have given from the last CBA, the owners have given in the negotiations.
