As for the losing fat, if all you eat is one double cheeseburger a day, then you're eating less than 1000 calories a day, so ya, you'll lose fat. However you'll be very unhealthy and also die young.
Really, I don't think you should try to argue otherwise. You're not making yourself sound like the smartest cat right now.
I disagree. If someone who works out has a maintenance of 3700 calories and he eats 4000 calories with enough protein, he will add lean mass. He will eventually get health problems but he will add lean mass as long as he eats a little bit over his maintenance.
