Also a good reason they likely want to avoid any type to amnesty buyout, with that much money coming free they don't need them. I know my first thought was why decline amnesty when it's owners discretion to use it, but in reality most of the lower revenue teams wouldn't want to afford it anyway, so agreeing to such a clause would essentially be giving the higher revenue teams one more potential leg up.
Haven't figured out how many of those 103 are subject to arbitration yet, will get to it eventually, but have to figure that it has something to do with the owners wanting a change to arbitration as well.
