Demers was bad last year, and Colin White certinily helped. He was nails ihe PO's the prior year, and he is killing it in Europe this year - big minutes and tough competition and he is excelling (comparisons to Rafalski even). Certainly it is not the NHL, but the point is that basing his value on last year's perfomance is not going to translate to a deal that would cause Shark's fans to deal him.

I would probably trade him straight up for Setoguchi, who would fits the mold of what we need for the Shark's first line.
