Yeah, that Rodney hip-check was awful (why was he playing in favor of Andrew Campbell, anyway?), but Jones has to be better. His numbers aren't all that bad, but he hasn't really been giving the team a chance to win lately. Mannino has put up great numbers, and deserves the majority of the starts. At least for now.

As for the forwards, they're alright, but I'm expecting better considering there is not a single significant injury (knock on wood) to any of them right now.

On the bright side, even though they didn't generate a goal today, the kid line (which consists of Pearson, Vey, and Toffoli) was great again today and, as far as I was concerned, generated the majority of the scoring chances. Toffoli is in a bit of a goal scoring drought after he had I think five in a week, but he had some quality chances today and is playing well.
