2006-07 Darren McCarty, CGY ... 32 GP, 0 points (5.24/game)

2007-08 Derek Boogaard, MIN ... 34 GP, 0 points (3.56/game)

2008-09 Chris Chelios, DET ... 28 GP, 0 points (47 years old)

2009-10 Raitis Ivanans, LA ... 61 GP, 0 points (4.54/game)

2010-11 Nick Bonino, ANA ... 26 GP, 0 points (9.48/game)
2010-11 Sheldon Brookbank, ANA ... 40 GP, 0 points (13.20/game)

2011-12 Eric Boulton, NJ ... 51 GP, 0 points (6.35/game)
2011-12 Philippe Dupuis, TOR ... 30 GP, 0 points (10.30/game)

My "favorite" ...
1998-99 Tyler Wright, PIT ... 61 GP, 0 points

PIT was 4th in Gs that season. Don't know why they didn't throw him on a line w/ Jagr for a game to break his 0.
Good answer. Still, for a guy taking a regular shift it's hard to do and I am sure he will put up Hjammer type numbers at some point. If he can play solid defense that's what we need most. Despite all the hype here over our prospects the pipeline is thin in terms of real defenders. I hope Stephen Johns gets a contract and I was kind of thinking we might have gone for Maatta last year, but time will tell.
