blockbuster 3 way deal - Sens/Detroit/Edmonton

Sens get Laroque - Moreau - Comrie - Cujo
Detroit gets Leschyshyn - Salo and swallows Cujo's salary next yr
Edmonton gets Lalime - Schastlivy - Smolinski

The Sens need muscle on the left side, both Laroque and Moreau provide muscle. Comrie will easily replace both Smolinski and Schastlivy and Cujo would have the chance to do what he hasn't done yet, win a cup with the #1 contender. Salaries could balance out ... by the time Cujo's salary is up for negotiation he will either drop his price or Emery will be ready.

Detroit gets rid of Cujo, they get an old defensmen which they love, and a back up goalie or trade bait for more older players.

Edmonton gets a versatile centre in Smolinski, a potential high scoring left winger to replace Moreau and a goalie that may or may not be as good as Salo. Plus they lose some salary.
