Basically, it means then the players can file anti-trust lawsuits against the owners. But the league has already filed a lawsuit against the players if they do decertify. So essentially this becomes a court battle.

In reality, last yr when the NFL and NBA unions decertified it basically led to the end of their labor issues within 2 weeks. The players believe if they decertify now and with how close they believe they are to a deal, it just leads to a resolution of a new CBA quickly. I agree with them and think that could get us back to playing in time to save a season.
