Canadians don't need to make excuses just have to be prepared and play the games within the same rules as everyone else. There is nothing new happening here.
Well this was 2 pre tourney games, I am not sure the same Finnish refs are going to be even reffing the WJHC games anyway. The injury may have bearing on further discipline, in this case an interference penalty, not a blantant dirty hit in my eyes. A shoulder to shoulder hit is still allowed in hockey on any continent. Better get Monahan on a plane, we may need him.
