I didn't think it was that bad, we only have so much wiggle room in this negotiation and if we lose and entire season I can't see our return being drasticly better for a 34 year old Lu.

Anyways I got another one.

To Vancouver: Derrick Brassard

To Toronto: Mason Raymond, Anton Rodin

Basicly a swap of 2 players who have disapointed, Raymond's value while not being that high is probably better around the league than most canuck fans think.

Brassard has decent size, decent speed, and is a good two way player. A pass first guy who could either be the 2nd line winger solution or center on the 3rd.

Rodin adds a bit more to sweeten the deal, I'ma fan but I think he would be better served career wise in Columbus. And for the Jackets with the additions of Anisimiov and Dubinsky they will have enough centers (Along with Johansen, and even Prospal & Umberger who can both play center) to fill the spot left by Brassard.

Is it Fair?
