I agree that the guy is crazy and if it were up to me he wouldn't exist in this world, it's even worse that he killed people who put their lives on the line everyday to help others. It's not like this is anything new though, people have been doing these kinds of things since we've existed. Media hypes it up into this huge story, but people have been killing each other for no reason at all since forever.
