pitchers would be dealt just like they're dealt with in any series, with a myriad of them lol?....like every other country does...won't be as many as in the MLB to choose from, but the point is it will be like any other team don't understand how that has anything to do with fielding a dream team?
because of how it affects their preseason routines, do you realize how lame of an excuse that is? it's simply because the culture of international play is not rooted in baseball in the USA, simple as that.
If you don't care about it, than good for you.
Soccer will always have the premier int'l competition regardless, the WC dwarfs pretty much any other sporting competition including the Olympics...
I happen to enjoy very much the WBC, it's the first ever serious baseball int'l competition being that the Olympics was a complete joke as well as any other tournament hosted by the IBF
