Yeah, the list I presented above isn't perfect, because it doesn't take into account goalies who were traded away.
As long as no goalie plays more than 72 games in the regular season for your team, there won't be an issue. In other words, if Rask ends up with 72, and the Kudobin or whoever has 4, then we'll know someone else played the remaining games. Because it is inconvenient to compare the total GP of the goalies to their respective team, I used the above method a quick-glance way to let people know whether they need to look more closely at their team's situation.
However, teams like the Sharks, Blue Jackets, Lightning and others who have acquired a "starter" are responsible for ensuring that that goalie plays no more than 72 games, even if they shipped out a starter.
