NHL & NHL PA have ended their conference calls for the night, they have agreed to have another call, tomorrow in NYC, which could lead to bargning.
The PA is using this weekend, to fully look over the new proposal. They will ask questions, clarification, etc. I expect, during the call today that is what they were chatting about.
Both sides continuing to talk tomorrow is good.
I just hope that with the 3 conessions made in the players favor, they at least have a player vote on the deal. but it wouldn't surprise me if Fehr, tries to get more.
one of the new improvements for the players that the league basically caved into was player variance, the percentage was at 5 NHL up that to 10% the PA was hoping for 25%, so stuff like that might have fehr basically say ok, we agree to all but can you come up on that, since were only 15% off from a deal. who knows, but I think fehr might try to ink out more stuff, which is right from a nego standpoint.
anyway's, circle jan 18 start of NHL 48 game schedule if they agree to this new deal, otherwise, its over.
