What you were confusing were the terms "radius" and "hollow". Radius is basically referring to how much of the blade is touching the ice front to back.

So, I have great endurance and I'm fast in a straight line...so I was thinking of trying the 9' first. I'm guessing just getting the same profile on both skates will be a big difference.

Any experience with that here?
