Trading away a huge chip in Stanton would require a huge positional player coming back, I would imagine.
Baez is as good as it gets. And maybe I am bias on account of actually seeing him play, but he is a Sheffield clone and offensively, just on his bat speed alone, I would go as far as to say he could, right now, hit MLB pitching. Defensively, he is and will be a shortstop, and that is obviously blocked with Castro. There is no way the kid can play third base from my eye alone, as he was horrible and kept looking over at the SS like "god, I wish I could be there".
That being said, the Flubs have a bevy of prospects right now in Baez, Sloer, Almora. Top notch prospects that have high ceilings. Throw in Voggie who is completely insane in terms of power and reminds me of Dunn, I could see the Flubs making a huge push for Stanton and have the means to do so, easily.
