A wild finish tonight at Compuware. After playing two solid periods, the Whalers slept walked through most of the third period, blowing a 3 goal lead. A very heated pep talk by Vellucci and a well-timed power play bailed Plymouth out in the last minute, though.
I thought Nedeljkovic played a solid game. Only the third, tying goal was weak -- the others were just the result of a team that had stopped skating and thought the game was wrapped up.
For those keeping track, Levi was tonight's OA scratch. Plymouth has to get down to three OA's by noon on January 9th.
It was interesting watching Aleardi, Meurs and Vanderweil play as a line against some of Owen Sound's big guys. The Attack had a big size advantage, and it really was apparent when this tiny tot line was on the ice.
