Video: 2013 World Junior Championship - Joel Armia and Rasmus Ristolainen, Finland


The 2013 World Junior Championship tournament did not go as Team Finland had hoped, with that country playing in the relegation round and finishing a disappointing seventh. While winning a medal seemed like a daunting task for Finland given the amount of talent available to all of the teams this year, it was generally felt that the team would at the very least compete in the playoff round.



Offense wasn't hard to come by for Finland at this WJC, which has not always been the case for this country at this tournament. But an offensive outage against the Czech Republic in a 3-1 loss was probably the one game that got away from the Finns and led to their appearance in the relegation round. read more
