If they really wanted to get a deal done why did they do that and wait a week or two to make another offer? You know, the same offer that spurred these negotiations?
And if you're serious about avoiding a lockout, why not make that offer to save a season instead of the insults they made earlier?
Because they had to modify their offer based on the information they obtained in the meetings.
Are you suggesting they should have immediately offered an identical proposal, the one that was originally not accepted by the PA?
