We have a couple of fowards that Gainey surely want to move for the right price...Zednik, Ribeiro and meybe even Ryder could be on the move. Some of you will say that's the first two are only garbage, but in the real life, they are kind of valuable because they can produce and they aren't too expensive.

If we resign Huet, we have a big load of goaltenders. We would have two #1, one good backup-up and a couple of future NHL goaltender.

Fianly, add to that our numbers of good prospects. 3 of them are now in the NHL and Kostitsyn, Chipchura, Grabovski and Latendresse will all push hard for a spot on the top 3 line. It's too much if they all become NHLer to a different degree.

That being said, we have evrything to expect a big trade this summer, and a team like Tampa could really be ready to let go Lecavalier if the price is right, and IMO, we can give a better package then the one that San Jose gives to Boston for Thornton...
Adding that Cote is getting ready for the NHL, we are getting loaded in terms of NHL defensemen and yes, Signing Streit add to this.

However, I wouldn't 100% conclude that Markov is to stay. Not that I wish his departure at all. But it would not be impossible that we sign a top UFA defensemen and trade Markov who would be a good trading asset and cheap... considering that next year he will be UFA and will cost big bucks anyway... Hence, why not pay another defenseman that can be even better than Markov, now.
