Requiem for a Dream
This has to be one of the most powerful, depressing, and tragic movies I have ever seen. The movie shows the absolute brutal side of addiction to various drugs leading to the addicts' downfall. The acting, especially from Ellen Burstyn, was flawless. The style of director Darren Aronofsky was different and unique which made it even more interesting to watch. It's hard to describe the feeling I was left with when the credits rolled; I was speechless. If you haven't seen this movie yet, I highly suggest it. You'll learn a lot.
