Souray was once selected as an NHL All-star. Souray proved that he has one of the hardest and most dangerous slap-shots in the entire NHL. He is only 29 and still has great years in front of him.

On the other hand, Streit is 28. What has he proved so far ? Absolutely Nothing.

BTW, some habs fan ignores the power and importance of Souray's lethal shot.

Souray is a true character guy.. Type of player that can lead you far in the playoffs. In my book, he's a keeper.

Hes also the one who missed the puck on an easy play that led to the Brindamour goal in game 3...Defensively hes atrocious, yes i like his shot but hes replacable on the PP. I dont think he would accept to be a bottom pairing guy either. Many teams want him and if they have anything interesting to offer Gainey should listen.
