Hasn't there been talk of Weiss being unwilling to re-sign in Florida? I thought that is where the possibility of Weiss being moved was brought up. If that's the case, then perhaps Florida would rather have the guy who's signed long term and a likely bigger impact player than the guy that could walk in 7 months.
