Honestly, I'm more than ready to suffer through a mercifully shortened season of sucktitude and reap some top end talent from next years draft. But I'm a realist. If the team gets off to a hot start in a 48 game season, there's going to be a decent chance to make the playoffs and a lot of pressure on the team to compete. I just hope we don't toss away draft picks for rental players to squeak in. Or worse, to just miss.

That's about the sum total of my hopes for this season. To squeak into the playoffs without sacrificing the future or rushing prospects who aren't ready (Young Gally in particular, Mighty Mite Gally might be ready, although it would kill the Dogs to lose him.)
