Here are my expectations:
Goalies:
#34 Miikka Kiprusoff: 44 gp, GAA 2.40, SVS% 92,0, 23 W, 16 L, 2 OTW, 3 OTL
#37 Leland Irving: 6gp, GAA 3.00, SVS% 90,6, 2 W, 3 L, 0 OTW, 1 OTL
Defenders:
#4 Jay Bouwmeester 48 gp, 2 + 16 = 18 p (0,38 PPG)
#5 Mark Giordano 48 gp, 6 + 17 = 23 p (0,48 PPG)
#6 Cory Sarich 35 gp, 0 + 4 = 4 p (0,11 PPG)
#7 TJ Brodie 48 gp, 1 + 16 = 17 p (0,35 PPG)
#26 Dennis Wideman 48 gp, 7 + 20 = 27 p (0,56 PPG)
#27 Derek Smith 13 gp, 0 + 3 = 3 p (0,23 PPG)
#44 Chris Butler 48 gp, 1 + 9 = 10 p (0,21 PPG)
Forwards:
#10 Roman Cervenka 48 gp, 13 + 18 = 31 p (0,65 PPG)
#11 Mikael Backlund 48 gp, 6 + 11 = 17 p (0,35 PPG)
#12 Jarome Iginla 48 gp, 20 + 24 = 44 p (0,92 PPG)
#13 Michael Cammalleri 48 gp, 16 + 22 = 38 p (0,80 PPG)
#17 Blake Comeau 44 gp, 4 + 8 = 12 p (0,27 PPG)
#18 Matt Stajan 40 gp, 2 + 10 = 12 p (0,30 PPG)
#19 Blair Jones 33 gp, 2 + 3 = 5 p (0,17 PPG)
#20 Curtis Glencross 48 gp, 17 + 16 = 33 p (0,69 PPG)
#22 Lee Stempniak 45 gp, 9 + 11 = 20 p (0,44 PPG)
#24 Jiri Hudler 48 gp, 11 + 15 = 26 p (0,54 PPG)
#27 Sven Bärtschi 48 gp, 11 + 14 = 25 p (0,52 PPG)
#28 Tim Jackman 26 gp, 1 + 2 = 3 p (0,12 PPG)
#29 Akim Aliu 4 gp, 0 + 1 = 1 p (0,25 PPG)
#40 Alex Tanguay 48 gp, 12 + 26 = 38 p (0,80 PPG)
So these expectations mean that:
- Flames will score 141 goals (goals average 2,94)
- Opponents will score 124 goals (goals average 2,58)
- Flames's record will be 27-18-4 --> 58 points (~99/82G)
I think I was a little optimistic but I believe that this is possible if everything goes well.
