it is always going to be hard to judge between CHL and NCAA defensemen as they are completely different leagues and styles. DeAngelo has his issues no doubt, but his upside is huge as well. If team USA needs that homerun hitter, he is their guy. The same fear was there for Mike Reilly who really stepped up and played solid defense though I think it minimized his offensive game though. DeAngelo could be the same.

I get to see more OHL vs ECAC or Hockey East so I might be a bit biased in a sense, but in a years time I think Connor Carrick and Anthony DeAngelo are going to be two kids that are going to be major players for this US team as they can either make the squad or will really push some others to step their game up if they want that spot.

Grzelcyk is a good player, but he is on the small side for dmen and his skills arent elite...its just my opinion but I think he has a tough fight ahead to make this team next year.
