Or you could say, considering he wasn't traded to anyone, that teams aren't going to give up their future for one player, or that Nashville was unrealistic in what they thought fair market value was, and therefore priced themselves out of the market. Or that they never had any intention of trading him unless a team did something crazy like give up several high value pieces.
