The problem with Penner is that he has so much natural talent that he had a tendency to sit back on his laurels last couple of seasons until he got serious late last season...then he had his personal issues...believe me, going through a divorce is enough to **** up anyone's mind and its hard to concentrate on even getting through the day sometimes.
It will be interesting to see how he attacks this season, given that its short, compacted, and that he had a feeling he needed to prove something not to just the Kings and fans but also to himself.
