Nonis is known for holding onto prospects almost as bad as HFboards (almost) so you're probably right. But I believe one of the reasons he was let go was because Canucks ownership was worried that because he'd missed out on so many opportunities to improve our team he would force himself into a bad deal. Overall Nonis a pretty conservative and good GM (and allows the local donut industry to FLOURISH!

) but there is that chance he goes for broke.
