The depth looks like it could fill their philosophical objectives for having waves of scoring. It also provides some potential mismatches, gives them a heavy-lifting d-zone line in Gerbe-Hecht-Kaleta, and could allow them to shield Grigorenko with both a responsible defensive player in Ott and not having to leave them out there for key duty at either end of the ice.
